and my journey

I grew up in northern Virginia, 40 minutes outside of D.C. I was always surrounded by sports growing up, whether I was playing them or watching them. I was inspired by Holly Rowe who does sideline reporting and so I tried a public speaking class in high school. When I decided to come to Tennessee, I knew I wanted to be a communications major, I just didn’t know how it would turn out. Follow me on my journey as a UTK Student Journalist as I take on this new world!
